Training Classes

Handler/Owner Assessments:
Covering all aspects of training, education, problem solving, training methods to produce a well trained gundog and give help & advice.

 Puppy Class: 30mins - This class is for dogs and owners with little or no experience in obedience or gundog training. The basics covered are: attention, settle, sit, stay, recall, walking to heel, retrieve, and whistle work.

  Beginners/Intermmediate: 60/90 mins - In this class, dogs must be able to respond to its name, respond to the voice/whistle recall command. The class will concentrate on heel work, hunting, steadiness, retrieving and general obedience.

 Advanced:  - These are for older, more experienced dogs which have gained the basics in steadiness and are accustomed to gun shot. Hunt in short cover, directional retrieves, working with cold game both seen and blind. Jumping and water retrieves.

You will need to bring with you, your dog, lead and whistle. Also poo bags as you must clear up after your dog. There is a bin provided.

The class fee is £5.00 per session or £8.00 for two dogs. There is no joining fee.
